Frank Joseph Agresti
January 27, 1951 – October 13, 2025
He lived life entirely on his own terms — never apologizing for who he was, never pretending to be anything but himself. He was an adventurer in every sense of the word, unafraid to take risks, try new things, and go wherever his heart led him. He taught everyone around him that freedom isn’t found in following the crowd — it’s found in having the courage to be authentically you.
Beneath that rebel spirit was a heart of gold. He loved his family fiercely — his children and grandchildren were the pride of his life. Every story, every laugh, every proud smile began and ended with them. He made sure they knew what unconditional love looked like, not through words, but through action — the way he showed up, the way he celebrated them, and the way he made each of them feel like they were his favorite.
He leaves behind memories that can’t be contained by photographs or words — memories of laughter echoing on long drives, stories told around kitchen tables, and a legacy of living fearlessly.
Frank reminded us all that life is meant to be lived — fully, unapologetically, and without waiting for anyone’s permission. His journey may have ended here, but his spirit, his laughter, and his love will continue to live boldly through everyone he touched.
He is survived by his loving wife, Aurora Agresti, and his six cherished children: Anthony Agresti and his wife Gina, Frank A. Agresti and his wife Liliana, Johanna Zepeda and her husband Jose, Juliana Santiago and her husband Jose, Jessica Agresti, and Adriana Agresti. He is predeceased by his brother Alfred Agresti.
Frank was a devoted grandfather to seven grandchildren: Eliana, Alex, Briana, Antonio, Liliana, Dante, and Leonardo, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother Gregory R. Agresti and his wife Ramona, his sister Ramilda Newell, his nieces Crystal and Allyson, and his nephew Gregory.
Rest easy. You did it your way — and what a beautiful way it was.”
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 1:00–3:00 PM and 6:00–8:00 PM at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville, NY 10992. Private cremation services will follow.
